Wordle was originally an everyday word puzzle game that has become hugely popular. New York software engineer Josh Wardle (get it?) Created an online version of the old version Lingo Game show just for its partners who love word games.
Wordle’s popularity has grown exponentially in a short time. Had 90 users a month after launch, hundreds of thousands shortly after, and now has millions of users globally.
Mr. Wardlewho is also responsible for Reddit’s Knot and Place Since then, Wordle has been sold to the New York Times, where it appeared alongside the NYT crossword and Spelling Bee.

What is Wordle?
The rules are very simple. You have up to six attempts to guess the 5-letter word. “Each guess must be a valid 5-letter word. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to indicate how close you are to the word. ”
Play Wordle on any device you want, Android, iPhone, PC or Mac, and the website will track your progress. Only one puzzle is released per day and everyone gets the same word, so many people share their results or Screenshots with you. As people started sharing their Wordle results on social media, other software developers raced to create new versions of Wordle.
first. Lord of the Rings
JRR Tolkien fans will love The Lord of the Rings. The correct answer can be any five letter word, including name, word Lord of the Rings. So you are free to guess “Bilbo”, although “shire” might be a better first guess.
2. Taylordle
Swifties can enjoy Taylordle created by Hannah Park and modified by the Holy Swift Podcast.
3. Dundle
You guessed it. This wordle is based on Office. Hannah Park also made this one.
4. Murdle
This version combines hanging with Wordle. You have unlimited guessing, but you will die if you get too many unique letters wrong.
5. Gordle
Inspired by Canadian hockey great Gordie Howe, Gordle works just like Wordle, except all your guesses must be an NHL player’s five-letter last name, past or present.
6. A greener world
Produced by the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), the conjectures in A Greener Wordle should relate to the environment and climate change.
7. Sweat – NSFW
With Sweardle, you will guess four-letter words. As the guide says, “You only have 4 chances to guess, though, so don’t **** it too much.” Don’t play this game at work! And if Sweardle isn’t for you, check it out Eroticeven more obscene, or Queerdlequite raw.
8. Squirdle
You have eight guesses to name the Pokémon.
9. Honey
Valid guesses include the cyclist’s 5-letter last name. The guide states, “The difficulty of the solution will vary from day to day: it can be a legend from the past, a famous name of the present, a nationalist who likes to tear down and bring following the screens.”

11. Absent
Absurdle’s goal is to drive you crazy. Your goal is to guess the secret word, but it won’t be easy because “Absurdle is trying to avoid giving you the answer. With each guess, Absurdle reveals as little information as possible, changing the secret word if necessary. Be sure to read the full instructions before you start guessing possible words.

You will solve four puzzles at once with Quordle. The number of letters in each puzzle is the same, but the answer is different.

Here’s one for anyone at heart NY. Each guess must be a valid subway train involving three trains using the available transit between them.

This might even be more absurd than Absurdle. Guess the letters only.

Scott’s Cheap Flights wants you to guess the airport code in the non-language version of Wordle.
20 Nerdle
In Nerdle, a word must be a mathematically correct calculation, so it must have an = sign. Has your brain been damaged?
21. Mathler
In Mathler, the number of goals changes every day. Can you find the hidden calculation?
22. Number
Numble is similar to Mathler. Give an equation equivalent to the given number. Remember the order of operations!
23. Primel
The last item on our list is Primel. There are about 90,000 five-digit primes. Did you guess right?
